This extension makes it easy to conduct a Best Fit search directly within the Housecall Pro interface, eliminating the need to toggle back and forth between Beeline and Housecall tabs. This extension is included for free in any Beeline Routes plan.
How the Extension Works
1. Installation and Access: Once installed from the Chrome Web Store, the extension operates within the Dispatch View of the Housecall Pro schedule.
2. One-Time Login: The first time the extension is used, users must log in using their standard Beeline Routes login (email address, send code, enter five-digit code, and verify). This login step is only required once per browser.
3. Drive Time Calculation: After logging in, users can enter an address (which features auto-complete) or search existing customers, pulling data directly from their Housecall Pro account.
4. Quick Check: The extension provides a quick check for drive times based on existing jobs on the calendar. When hovering over potential job slots on the calendar, a little yellow box appears.
5. Calculating Added Time: The yellow box instantly tells the you the additional drive time the new stop would add between the existing jobs. For instance, it might show that a new stop adds 10 minutes of additional drive time between the current stops. If hovering over a slot at the end of the day, it calculates the direct drive time from the last job to the new one.
